Homejobplacement.net Review | Is Homejobplacement.net a Scam?

Homejobplacement.net Review | Is Homejobplacement.net a Scam?

Homejobplacement.net appears to be a resource for people looking to work from home. Their site asks you for your zip code, and says it will show you what jobs are available in your area. It turns out that every zip code returns just two job openings, and they are all at the same company.

Is it worth considering this company’s offer? Let’s look at the homejobplacement.net sales pitch and see if it passes my “three strikes” rule.

Strike 1: The Domain of Homejobplacement.net Is Misleading

Homejobplacement.net may place you in a job you can do from home, but it is not a job placement agency. Asking visitors to enter their zip code on the landing page is also a needless charade since they always push the same job openings on everyone. (Don’t believe me? Try visiting http://homejobplacement.net/index/ instead of http://homejobplacement.net, and see how many jobs are in “your city.”) If you are looking for multiple job opportunities that you can do from home, you are going to have to look at other sites.

Strike 2: The Testimonials on Homejobplacement.net Are Worthless

Homejobplacement.net has a whole textbook of disclaimer language at the bottom of the page protecting it from a variety of accusations. In those disclaimers, they note that while the testimonials are “real and accurate,” they are from people who have been “remunerated” for allowing Home Job Placements to use their endorsements (This means that homejobplacement.net compensated them to say nice things). Compensated testimonials are no substitute for a fair evaluation from an unbiased source, and in this case the testimonials are next to pictures that “are not the actual images of the attestants,” which makes me wonder why they even bothered posting them.

Strike 3: The Homejobplacement Affiliates Are Nameless

Homejobplacement.net is not affiliated with Apple, Calvin Klein, or Microsoft, but that doesn’t stop them from citing those companies on their website. Although homejobplacement.net claims that these Fortune 500 companies need your help, you will not be working directly for them. In fact, all of the text on the page leaves it deliberately vague as to just who is providing these job openings for you.

That’s three strikes against homejobplacement.net, and they’re out.

But why are they working so hard to distract you with irrelevant and misleading information? It may be because the Akron Better Business Bureau gave them an “F” rating.

NSA Technologies, LLC, the company rated by the Akron BBB, lists Home Job Placement as an alternate business name. NSA Technologies has received more than 130 complaints since it opened, with more than half of the complaints from the past year filed because of their refund practices.

Refund practices? That’s right, homejobplacement.net is not a site posting job offers, it is a site selling a certification program. After you pay for their one-day program, you have a little-known certification that opens an uncomfortably small door for you. If you don’t want to take my word for it, you can try the program, but good luck getting a refund if you aren’t satisfied.

Am I unreasonably biased against this program? Are there actually a large number of jobs out there that require you to get an auction listing agent certification? If you have worked as an auction listing agent—or if you exclusively hire auction listing agents—I’d love to hear from you.

ScamXposer.com Reviews | Is ScamXposer.com A Scam?

If you’ve come across David Harris’ ScamXposer.com, you’re probably wondering how well tested the methods or how objective the opinions are in relation to the reviewer’s experience.

When I saw his site, I was wondering the same…

The truth is, any review site, regardless of the product or service being reviewed, should be taken with a grain of salt. In most cases, business opportunity eview sites are created with the motivation of generating leads for particular opportunity or another, which may be called “Top Recommended Jobs,” or “Top Recommended Business” in the case of ScamXposer.com

Here’s my list of the pros and cons of David Harris’ review site…

Pro -  He’s a talented writer and often provides valuable insight on each of the opportunities he’s evaluating…

Con -  Other participants on ScamXposer.com cannot submit their own reviews (you’ll notice on this site, that we highly encourage you and every other user that visits this site to contribute to the conversation and write your own review).  A good review site should not simply be the opinion of a single person, but should draw from the experiences of a much larger audience.

Pro and Con – Harris does offer his opinion and provide recommendations of particular products and opportunities he recommends.  His top two recommendations are ProjectPayDay.com and Zurvita.  Both of these programs, however, may not be best suited to your experience or your needs, if not studied carefully.

ProjectPayDay.com is all about processing rebates to make money, which can be a bit tedious, particularly if you’re looking to make more than a few dollars online.

The other opportunity he recommends, Zurvita, is another MLM / Network marketing opportunity. Although the company may certainly be reputable, MLM has become a very difficult way to earn any substantial income, particularly with the advent of participating in MLM programs online.

We have found that there other, more lucrative business models out there which combine large up-front commissions which a nice residual income, for maximum profits.

Any experience with these opportunities? Be sure to share your thoughts below…

KeyOnlineJobs.com Reviews | Is KeyOnlineJobs.com a Scam?

KeyOnlineJobs.com Reviews | Is KeyOnlineJobs.com a Scam?

KeyOnlineJobs.com is a site that claims you can make a lot of money by filling online forms from home, using your computer. The site offers many ways to do the same thing—filling in forms. What is the business all about? Let’s have a quick glance.

How KeyOnlineJobs.com Works

The primary business of KeyOnlineJobs.com (the site seems to have moved to the .net domain recently) is filling in forms for Pay-Per-Click advertising on Google, Yahoo! and other sites. You will enter the information of businesses who want to advertise their products on Google. The products on KeyOnlineJobs.com, however, are mostly e-books.

Apart from this, KeyOnlineJobs.com also has leads pertaining to mystery shopping, taking online surveys, e-mail processing, and grant application writing.

For all this information, you pay $50 a month. The price is basically for access to all the resources at one place. As with most sites, KeyOnlineJobs.com indicates that the price may be hiked any time, although it has been around the same for a while now!

KeyOnlineJobs.com: The Good, The Bad, the Ugly

KeyOnlineJobs.com does not put all its eggs in one basket—it offers a bunch of ways to make money online, so that you can choose the way that appeals most to you. You also get a Web site created, which is sort of the basis of the pay-per-click idea.

However, KeyOnlineJob.com claims of six-figure incomes in a single month are simply too much to believe. If a site wants to advertise a decent opportunity, they will not make such ridiculously tall claims, which makes you wonder how genuine the opportunity really is.

Responding to e-mails and filling out online surveys are among the better deals offered by KeyOnlineJobs.com. A genuine, non-scam mystery shopper opportunity is a legit business to get into, the other option of KeyOnlineJobs.com—the grant application way.

According to KeyOnlineJobs.com, you will be given samples of successful grant application forms and resources, and you can use them to create your own grant application for free government aid. The site encourages people to apply for grants to pay bills, for the rent, and to fix the house, and “much more.” Now, there’s nothing wrong with checking out a grant application process, but telling people that they can get “free money that you don’t have to repay ever” sends out the wrong message.

The founder of keyonlinejobs.com is Dan Buck, and he used to run a company called LiveMint that you can learn more about with Google searches.

KeyOnlineJobs.com: The Verdict

Each opportunity on KeyOnlineJobs.com really is just a collection of resources and free Web sites, many of which are down and non-functional.

So do you think the $50 per month ($600 per year) is worth it?

How did you fare with KeyOnlineJobs.com? Let us know below in your own review!

RipOffReport.com Reviews | Is RipOffReport.com A Scam?

RipOffReport.com Reviews | Is RipOffReport.com A Scam?

Chances are, if you’ve done any searching for a legitimate home business opportunity to join online, you’ve probably come across a site called RipOffReport.com

RipOffReport.com and its sister site ‘RipOffRevenge.com’ were founded by Ed Magedson in an effort to give consumers an opportunity to voice their opinions when wronged or treated poorly.

Well, now it’s time to review the reviewers!

Here are my thoughts on Ed’s Rip Off Reports…

I think Ed has done a good job of accumulating resources and being an advocate of ‘the people’. His website seems like it is filled with an entire LIBRARY of information and covers an extremely wide range of company, product and opportunity reports and reviews.

More often than not, when trying to research a company via RipOffReport.com, you are able to find something of value that will help you make a more informed decision.

If you do a Google search for RipOffReport.com, you will find that Ed Magedson has actually been taken to court for his website numerous times but has chosen not to back down in spite of the potential judicial consequences. He continues to herald the free speech of the consumer.

Additionally, I noticed they have very good media coverage and respect from numerous third-party sources. Ed cites on his website:

Many government agencies come to the Ripoff Report for information. We have assisted, and continue to assist, many government agencies, including local and state police departments, the FBI, FTC and Attorney General offices from around the country.

It seems very clear to me that RipOffReport means business and is a legit venue for both consumers and companies to bring complaints and rebuttals.

The last thing I noticed, is that RipOffRevenge.com is actually selling a Do-it-Yourself Guide: How to get Rip-off Revenge for $21.95.

A guide to getting your money back from companies when you feel like you’ve been ripped off. Fortunately, I haven’t had to use it but maybe you have?

What about you? Have you been to Ed’s Ripoff Report.com? Was it helpful to you? Be sure to write your own review below…

Starscapes.com Reviews | Is Starscapes.com A Scam?

Starscapes.com Reviews | Is Starscapes.com A Scam?

Is Starscapes.com Legit?

Starscapes.com is devoted to promoting both the Starscapes product as well as the Star Biz business opportunity. This review introduces a description of the Starscapes concept and what you can expect by selling Starscapes through Star Biz.

What is Starscapes.com?

The Starscapes product is described as a “portal” that can be located anywhere in a home, hotel, office or other space; is invisible during the day; and transforms to a starry sky at night.

The original concept, as depicted on Starscapes.com, is for the portal to be placed on the ceiling. When a room grows dark, the ceiling appears to transform into a night sky, full of stars. The site also boasts astronomical accuracy. Starscapes is not a poster, lights or wallpaper; rather it is a glow in the dark painting that can only be seen at night. The ceiling appears normal during the day, or in a well lit room, and as a starry sky in the dark.

How much does starscapes.com Cost?

Starscapes is promoted and sold via individual Star Biz representatives. As stated on Starscapes.com, the introductory package is worth $69, but it’s free if you sign up for the Starscapes newsletter.

Introductory Package

The introductory package includes the following items:

○ A report detailing the business, the design, tips on how to get started and how to earn a living selling and installing Starscapes
○ Two demonstration portals
○ A Presentation CD
○ Brochure samples
○ Business card samples
○ A hotel signage sample

Although the details of this program are not disclosed on Starscapes.com’s home page, they are stated on Starscapes.com/secret.

The investment into the Starscapes Star Biz program is regularly $4,999. They appear to be having a sale for April; making the price $3497.

Additionally, it is stated that the introductory package costs are fully refundable should you be unsatisfied for any reason, no questions asked. The Star Biz program insists that the introductory package be reviewed before investment.

Starscapes.com in Review

By investing in the Starscapes program, it would appear that you would be the promoter and installer of your own business. The $3497 initial investment goes toward equipment to assist with your “illusionist” Starscapes painting; which includes a projector for projecting the images to be painted on the ceiling, and a black light, which enables the installer to “activate” the glow in the dark paint.

All materials are the responsibility of the Star Biz salesperson/installer. A website template is also said to be included as a part of the promotional materials that the Star Biz sellers can use to market their Starscapes business.

Do you have experience with Starscapes.com? Have you ordered the introductory package or invested in the Star Biz business? Share your experiences with us.

ShadowShopper.com Review | Is ShadowShopper.com A Scam?

ShadowShopper.com Review | Is ShadowShopper.com A Scam?

Shadowshopper.com is one of many sites offering consumers a way to be a secret shopper or mystery shopper.

Shadow shopper has been around since October of 2003 and was incorporated in June of 2004 in Nevada.

I took a look at Shadowshopper.com and wanted to pass along some information that I think is important to know when you’re looking for ways to make money online. As always, I’ll be using my three-strike method to rate this business opportunity.

ShadowShopper.com Is A Great Looking Site

First, let’s take a look at the overall appearance of the site. Since most of us are very visual, we tend to evaluate things based on how they look.

For the record, Shadowshopper.com has a great looking site. It’s easy to navigate and it provides clear information about its purpose. Shadowshopper.com does charge a fee for their service and they are very clear about that.

You can sign up with their bronze package for free, however, if you want to continue using their service, you’ll have to pay $4.95 and bump up to the Gold package. What’s unclear about this fee is whether or not it’s a one-time fee or if it’s a fee that is periodically charged to your credit card. However, upon further investigation, I found that when you click to sign-up for the gold program, it’s very clear that the $4.95 fee is for one month. Other options are a 3-month membership for $37.95 and a 1-year membership for $99.95.

Given the fact that Shadowshopper.com does provide easy access to many secret shopper opportunities all in one convenient spot, I would say that they have a right to charge a fee for doing this.

A D From BBB For ShadowShopper.com

That being said, I always turn to our friends at the Better Business Bureau before making a decision on whether or not I’m going to invest in an opportunity. Despite the fact that Shadowshopper.com looks like a great opportunity, I found that the BBB gives them a rating of “D”. This is based upon the number of complaints that they have received about Shadowshoppper.com and how the company responds to those complaints. Strike one.

Within the last thirty-six months, there have been 90 complaints about Shadowshopper.com. Normally, this would raise a red flag for me. To their benefit, though, 80 of those complaints have been resolved and 10 of them have been administratively closed. To me, this means that Shadowshopper.com, at the very least, is responsive to their customers.

Shadowshopper.com Has Been Around For A Long Time

Shadowshopper.com has been in business for over 6-years. To me, this says a lot. I think that it’s a legitimate way to become a mystery shopper and provides easy access to a large database of secret shopper opportunities. Taking those opportunities is up to you, though. Keep in mind, with a bit of searching, you can find all of these secret shopper opportunities for free at other Web sites. Also take into consideration that I only gave Shadowshopper.com one strike.

As always, I invite you to look for yourself at this business opportunity. Would you invest your hard-earned money into it? Let me know.

Make2Much.com Review | Is Make2Much.com a Scam?

Make2Much.com Review | Is Make2Much.com a Scam?

Make2Much.com is a business that does not promise the moon—instead, it promises a reasonable $7,000 or thereabouts a month. The business, founded by Jacob Clement, is touted in the company’s marketing material as “the most automated money making system on the planet.” Does the company hold up on scrutiny—does its modest promise mean it’s more legit? Let’s find out.

How Make2Much.com Works

Logging on to Make2Much.com redirects one to Vinitti Corporation and its Vinitti Cash Flow System. Make2Much seems to be a funnel that directs to Vinitti—which has a better Web presence. So, how does it work? That’s the issue–in the numerous videos and text on the site, it is never really mentioned. What you do get is a cryptic message that says,

“The way that it works is a trade secret and that is why we do not disclose completely how it works before you become a member. … What we can tell you is that all you have to do to start making money with this amazing system is simply copy and paste on your computer for a few hours a day, then sit back, relax, and watch the money come in.” What? So I just sign up for Make2Much without any idea of what I am paying for??

Now, that is clearly not enough information for one to start signing up for the system. On some digging, what we could glean is that the system consists of purchasing a Web site (usually for a “discounted” price of $99), and the member is paid depending on the clicks that the Web site receives. Make2Much.com seems to make extra money by peddling additional advertising for the sites.

The Make2Much Guarantee

Make2Much offers a guarantee to top their offer: “If you follow our program as directed for the next 90 days, and don’t average a minimum of $7,852 every month, we will cut you a check for $3,000 dollars!” However, note the clause: “If you follow our program…” Several members have complained that they haven’t seen even the $3K, forget the $7K!

Make2Much Pros and Cons

Since Make2Much.com does not quite disclose what the program is all about, it is tough to compare the advantages and disadvantages of the program. One obvious disadvantage of the program is the fact that Clement does not really reveal what the program is all about. And that’s a big one—if you’re confident about your program, you’ll want to flaunt it, wouldn’t you?

Make2Much: The Bottom Line

Certainly something you don’t want to get into in a hurry. If you can find out exactly what this is about, make an informed choice (and let us know how it goes)!

What has been your experience with Make2Much.com?

Ikidsplace.com Reviews | Is Ikidsplace.com A Scam?

Ikidsplace.com Reviews | Is Ikidsplace.com A Scam?

Ikidsplace.com is an online business opportunity where you have a chance to start a business marketing and selling kids toys, clothes, goods, etc… online.

It is promoted as a way for you to enter the billion dollar “kids” industry where parents spend considerable amounts of  money.

The premise of Ikidsplace is that you sign up to receive your own kids commerce website that is plug and play ready for you to start promoting and making sales.

Basically all you have left to do, (and I say this with a sarcastic tone) is to learn how to market online and drive traffic completely on your own…with no mentorship or guidance –sounds simple right?

Well I say it mockingly, but it is not a joke. Learning internet marketing is not something you pick up in a few days. It requires time and dedication like any learned skill.

Back to Ikidsplace, though, let me run through this review citing specific points.

  • Website template –Although Ikidsplace offers a web template, it does in fact mean that all of the other Ikidsplace affiliates will have the same exact selling proposition and layout. It may not be unique enough to drive traffic to you only.
  • Hosted by Ikidsplace.com – The foundation of building a successful online business is to control and own your own website. If you have no control over the most important aspect of your business then you essentially do not have your own business.   It is important to host your own website.
  • Better Business Bureau Rated F – Anytime a business opportunity has received a rating of F from the BBB then it’s probably a good indicator that there may be some unresolved issues with the business structure.

Based on BBB files, Ikidsplace has a BBB Rating of F on a scale from A+ to F.

    -As posted on BBB.com

Ikidsplace.com does not seem to be the best value for your expenditures!

Do I agree with the idea of affiliate marketing? Yes, absolutely.

You also might be able to make money from the Ikidsplace program (and I hope you do if you have already invested in it) but it doesn’t seem like a business that will hold out for you, long term.

What about you, have you had any experience with Ikidsplace.com? Post your review below.

The-Cash-1234-System.com Review | Is The-Cash-1234-System A Scam?

The-Cash-1234-System.com Review | Is The-Cash-1234-System A Scam?

Two Similar Sites For The Cash 1234 System

In reviewing The-Cash-1234-System.com we found that it is strikingly similar, in appearance, to the site The-Cash1234-System.com. Each site has the same images and appears to be identical; therefore, to dispel any confusion, we have reviewed both sites. Site #2 offers an introduction to the Cash1234 system that is not presented on Site #1. It is possible, based on this major difference, that the Site #1 is either a copy of Site #2, or recruiter attempting the sell a similar product using the reputation of Site #2.

The-Cash-1234-System.com A Site With No Page Links

To further determine the program’s legitimacy, we have dismantled Site #1, The-Cash-1234-System.com. The most basic difference between the two sites is a dash placed between the word Cash and the numbers 1234. On this site, you will notice that there is not an introduction, a description or any other details available, other than a request for personal information to learn more. When clicking on the links for Home, Contact, Member Login, or Join Now, the user is directed to a PAGE NOT FOUND error.

Site #2, The-Cash1234-System.com (no dash between Cash and 1234), appears to be a legitimate version of the Cash 1234 plan. As described in the introduction on the home page, the Cash1234 program is a 4-step system for earning income online.

Although the introduction provides no details on the exact methodology of the Cash 1234 program, it does offer a list of the types of programs that it is NOT. As stated in the list, the Cash 1234 program method does not include “selling, advertising, cash gifting, AdSense or recruiting for a multi-level marketing plan” as methods for earning income. Potential users are also asked to invest only $12 for the 4 step program details.

Our review of the The-Cash1234-System.com revealed that the four steps include the following:

Step 1. Users are asked to set up various accounts on online casinos and betting sites.
Step 2. Reveals how to earn bonuses from the gambling sites.
Step 3. Introduces methods for “autosurfing” for income making programs, such as sites that pay for reading emails, completing offers and perusing ads.
Step 4. Advises users on methods of investing in high yield programs.

Although we have not had the opportunity to review all of the details in the four step guide, none of the methods presented in the four steps is an uncommon income earning practice. However, should any of steps in the program seem unappealing or confusing you may not want to pursue the Cash 1234 program. It is important to remember that although the initial investment is only $12, participation on gambling sites is something that requires a bit of skill or, at the very least, understanding and it may not appeal to every user.

The Cash 1234 System Is Based on Gambling

In summary, the Cash 1234 program presented on The-Cash1234-System.com is based on making earnings by gambling and then using those earnings upon which to build a residual income. Most importantly, if you are unfamiliar with gambling sites or how they work, even with the Cash 1234 guide, you may still want to take a closer look.

What is your experience with thecash1234system.com? Any luck?
