Is Disciplescross.com a scam? The simple answer is no. However, when are things that involve real business opportunities and making money ever “simple”?

Disciplescross.com An Opportunity To Sell Items You Created

Disciplescross.com offers people a home-based business opportunity that allows them to craft an item and make money on that item in two different ways. The first way is through a buyback program and the second way is through marketing and selling the product on your own.

There are two things about this business that are interesting. The first is that it’s promoted at a Christian business. The mantra, “Obviously, if it’s Christian-based, it must be legit” might start ringing in your ears, however, it’s always good to investigate any business opportunity.

The second thing that is interesting about this opportunity is the fact that it was started by Pastor John Raymond. You might remember Pastor Raymond from his stint on CBS’s Survivor: Thailand.

Let’s take a closer look at this opportunity using my three-strike method.

Pastor John guarantees a profit. Obviously, my interest is piqued because that type of statement is an immediate red flag. However, Pastor John guarantees a profit because he promotes his buyback policy. Basically, all crosses that pass inspection will be purchased back from the person making the crosses. Unfortunately, making the crosses isn’t quite as easy as it might seem. Many online discussion boards were abuzz with this fact and many people on these boards were upset at their rejection rate. When you want to know the truth about a business, find the consumers and ask them. When it comes to the buyback program, I have to give Disciplescross.com… say it with me… Strike one!

Here’s where things get a bit tricky, though. From those same online boards, I found that the majority of satisfied customers were making the crosses and selling them on their own! They weren’t participating in the buyback program. This intrigued me. The further I dug, the more I realized that for some people this could truly be an opportunity to make some legitimate money selling a product.

This is where the rubber meets the road. If you participate in DisciplesCross.com business opportunity, you have to be willing to invest the time and effort into making the crosses as Pastor John shows you on the video that comes with the start-up kit. And yes, the start-up kit costs money: roughly $70. You will also need to invest in your own marketing. The type of marketing depends on how many of the crosses you want to sell. If you want to make a few extra dollars, you can set up a booth at your local church craft fair and sell them for whatever price you think people will buy them for. If you want to make more money, though, you’ll need to get out and advertise. This can run into serious money.

DisciplesCross.com Is An Opportunity For Hard Working People

Ultimately, this business seems to be legitimate and you can make money with it. However, the amount you make is based on how hard you work and how many hours you’re willing to invest in it. I can definitely see this as an additional source of income for stay-at-home parents, retirees or anyone suffering from disabilities that keep them from working outside the home.
