NextJobatHome.com is advertised as a “news reporting service” for the work at home and telecommuting industries. It is, in reality, a job board primarily for work at home jobs. But does it actually pay to sign up for an account with NextJobatHome.com? Let’s find out.
How NextJobatHome.com Works
The idea behind Next Job at Home is quite simple. You basically sign up for an account, and the site sends you access to the site’s affiliate job posting sites—TypingWritingjobs.com, and PhoneJobsatHome.com, to name a couple—which you access for free.
There, you find listings of jobs, and you apply at the links given in the ad itself. Very simple, isn’t it?
NextJobatHome.com: The Plus
The big thing that NextJobatHome.com has going for it is that unlike most “work at home” job sites, NextJobatHome.com does not involve any financial transaction to sign up. You simply provide your name and e-mail address to sign up and start accessing the job sites. As a matter of fact, you can even access the affiliate sites without signing up for nextJobatHome.com!
The jobs are from reputed companies, and lead you directly to the company’s recruitment site in most cases, so there is less chance of any fraud going on. But the story doesn’t end there.
NextJobatHome.com: The Minus
If you look just a bit closer under the hood, though, you’ll find that each of NextJobatHome’s affiliate sites advertise for sites that seem very shady.
You can also be put off by the fact that the listings on NextJobatHome.com don’t seem to be sorted in any particular order, and it is very difficult to actually navigate the sites and look for a job. And it really makes you wonder where the site gets it revenue from.
It turns out that many of the jobs advertised on NextJobatHome.com are for internet marketing businesses in the first place. It seems like a non-aggressive plan to turn your attention to internet and affiliate marketing businesses.
What’s more, the listings don’t seem to change a whole lot, and most of the “reputed company” listings simply point to their permanent “telecommute careers” section.
NextJobatHome.com: The Verdict
NextJobatHome.com does not seem to be a scam, unlike many internet job sites. However, the benefits may simply not exist, and meaningful employment may be tough to navigate and come by through the site. So, sign up, look at the sites suggested, and if it works for you, great!
