5/16/11 This is a total scam. I to was taken for 99.95. This is a total scam and I encourage everyone to not sign up!!!!! You will be ripped off.

****AS OF SEPTEMBER 23RD, 2010****DO NOT USE!!!!! Once you sign up for the TRIAL membership, even if you chose the ‘dont automaticaly renew’ button, tehy charge your credit card $99.00 AND REFUSE TO GIVE YOU A REFUND!! The Better Business Bureau has them at a ‘D’ rating, and almost 200 complaints regarding unauthorized billing habits.

i was also charged cad40 after i tried the trial offer…they wouldn’t want to give me any refund! i know that this is a small amount but where i could make a complaint?

I fell into the whole Shadowshopper scam. But I didn’t give them authorization to automatically renew my accont, or charge me for it with out my manual approval. I did not recieve any renewal notices, and read everything before I decided to even do a trial sub.

As you said they Just go ahead and enroll you to the fll year subscription, without permission. What I did get wasn’t all that helpful, either.

I did turn them into BBB, and have every intention to post a warning on facebook, and all the other websites, so they could have just refunded my 99.95, but know I will make sure they will lose more than that. Thanks, I wish I would have seen your site before I got involved with SHADOW SHOPPER
