What is American Cash Flow Really All About?
While the AmericanCashFlow.com website does provide information and tips about the cash flow industry, the focus is to get people to actually become a cash flow consultant. In order to do this, you must get your cash flow certification from the ACFA. Once you have become a certified cash flow consultant, you appear to require no ongoing training to maintain your certification.
During your certification and training you are said to learn how and where to find deals and how to actually complete the transaction. Keep in mind that you are not the buyer or the seller, but rather a broker (consultant). The average deal will take 2 to 4 weeks to complete after a buyer and seller have been found. As a consultant, you would be paid a specified amount, usually a percentage, from the funding source or buyer.
There are a variety of different sources that this industry is involved with. The three basic categories are Business-based, Private-Based, and Individual-Based income streams. For example: let’s say a company gets an order for $50,000 worth of product. Normally, it will take a few weeks to deliver the product and another 1 to 3 months to actually receive the payment. The business could then sell the $50,000 that they are owed to someone for $45,000. The company gets $45,000 immediately, whereas the person who bought the debt will get $50,000 in a few months. As the consultant, your job is to match the company seeking to sell the debt with someone who is willing to buy it.

The tuition is $3,995, which is said to be a onetime fee for lifetime certification. Any additional expenses will be based upon how you run your business.
