How is the Freelancemom.com Site Set Up?
When you land on the homepage you will find four main page tabs. They are Community, Resources, Articles and Newsletters. Below a short introduction there is a box that you can click to find freelance jobs. When you click on this box you are taken to a page that has fields to input your personal information and a few questions to help define what type of freelance job you would be suited for. This service is seemingly offered free of charge.
The Freelancemom.com website founder, Lori, explains that she developed this site to offer freelance mothers a place to connect with each other. As you scroll down the page you will find buttons that you can click on to check out the latest freelance opportunities and visit her blog. Work at Home Tips and Featured Articles are included on the homepage, as well. There are a few advertisements scattered throughout the page.
Freelancemom.com – Navigation Tabs
If you click on the Community tab you will be taken to a page that explains the forums and ways that the Freelancemom community connects. The Resources tab takes you to a page that lists the various informational pages linked in the site. The Articles tab will take you to the latest articles and archives of past articles written by the founder and other contributors. As expected the Newsletter tab takes you to a page where you can sign up for their free newsletter and access the archived newsletters. At the time of writing this review the most recent archive was from March 2008.
