Quixtar is a part of Amway, an international business that’s been in operation since 1959.
The company sells their products through a network of Independent Business Owners who sell the product they buy from the company at a retail markup, pocketing the profit for themselves. Money is earned through retail markups and a monthly performance bonus which can reportedly range from 3% to 25% of the IBO’s monthly volume. It’s also possible to earn leadership bonuses and to make money from the sales volume of other people whom you sponsor into the program.
Independent Business Owners make their own schedules and sell the merchandise in a variety of ways. You can sell the product personally, open your own store front, or even market online. Most of the income that an IBO has the potential to make is through Quixtar coming from retail sales, but the bonuses are excellent ways to supplement your income.
According to the website, there are three steps to success; 1) to learn about their products 2) sell them at retail to friends and family 3) to sponsor new Quixtar/Amway IBOs. They do provide a range of marketing materials, including DVDs, print materials and your own website.

There is a minimum startup cost of $62, which includes a $50 Amway Business Services and Support Fee and a $12 fee for the IBOA. For $83.99 extra, you can get a Product Kit which will include full size products you can use to help sell by allowing people to try them, or sell them. There’s a yearly fee to keep your Quixtar business running, thought we were unable to find the exact amount. Aside from that, the only ongoing costs are costs for replacing any stock you keep on hand.
Bonuses are available ranging from 3% to 25% of your monthly sales volume, as well as Leadership bonuses for sponsoring others into the program. We were unable to find information about any kind of guarantee, but they do provide a host of training materials and marketing materials for their IBOs.
