The first thing I noticed upon my IncomeAtHome.com review was the A+ BBB rating at the top right of the page, stating they are an accredited BBB business.
After checking out their BBB profile, I found that Income At Home is actually part of Online Business Systems, which also runs Online Marketing Solutions. While their rating does check out, I still have some concerns about the Income At Home website.
As you go down the page you will notice a testimonial from someone stating how they had seen this opportunity on their favorite talk show and are now making thousands of dollars a month from their home. This is typical of many websites claiming you can make money working from home.
You’ll notice, however, a little disclaimer at the very bottom of the page stating, as most work from home websites do, that results are not typical for everyone and that incomes stated on the website are that of top earners, and not the majority of people.
Upon reading the statements further down the bottom of the page during my IncomeAtHome.com review, I noticed that this is actually an Herbalife distributorship.
The thing that immediately crossed my mind was, if someone wanted to get involved with Herbalife why wouldn’t they just go through the company itself? It took me about two seconds to pull up Herbalife’s own website and find that they have a business opportunity link right at the top of their own website.
So why use IncomeAtHome.com?
Well, I can’t really give you a valid answer to that, but I think I can clear up why IncomeAtHome would like you to sign up with them for your Herbalife business.
Scroll down their page a bit and you will see an offer to enter you into a sweepstakes for a $1000 home business giveaway and to sign up with them for a 14 day risk free trial. This is nothing but a marketing ploy so they can get your information and try to sell you their product, which is Herbalife.
Not only will they have your email address, so they can send you information about the product, but they will also have your phone number, meaning someone will likely be calling you. This is a typical MLM sales tactic that is really intended to get you to buy as much of their product as they can get you to agree to.
The more you buy, the more money you can make, right? Well, that could be true, but remember, you still have to sell it yourself to make your profit.
My IncomeAtHome Review will hopefully open up some eyes to the fact that although a business may have a great BBB rating, it still may not be able to live up to the expectations that are anticipated by the number of people who join them.
While IncomeAtHome.com is not a scam, it does present some questions as to why this is a viable choice over going through Herbalife directly. This could turn out to be a great opportunity for those who believe in the product and have the determination and skills to be successful.
