MonaVie Review | Does MonaVie Scam People?

MonaVie appears to be a company that offers a variety of health products. Their site offers a variety of anti-oxidant rich juices. These juices are based off the health berry, Acai. They have heath juices, energy drinks, and weight loss options. The company is an MLM (Multi-Level-Marketing) program with a large number of distributors and recruits for its products. The company was started in 2005 and claims to have been listed in 2009 as one of the fastest growing companies. The company’s reps are called independent distributors and they are well established in 18 different countries. Distributors of the company are ranked by activity levels into 14 different categories. The company reports that for the lowest level of distributor weekly high in earnings is $763. The top earnings for the highest-ranking distributor, “Royal Black Diamond Executive and Above” is stated at the weekly amount of $93,658.

MonaVie Pricing, Fees, Bonuses And Guarantees

The apparent cost is $39.00 to sign up as a distributor. The juices themselves are an average of $30/bottle.

Because you are an independent distributor, it is assumed that you will be purchasing inventory. On direct sales you set your mark-up price, therefore you would receive the entire commission. On bulk orders, you can receive money (this amount depends on your activity level) each time someone you have referred to join orders in bulk.

Also, with at least 200 PV (personal volume) on your first recruit you can earn a bonus. Again, with 200 PV, every time someone you have sponsored moves up a level you can earn $40. There appears to be an elaborate team commission process that depends on the activity level of each team member.

MonaVie Reviews | Is MonaVie a Scam?

MonaVie, as you might already know, is in the business of selling nutritional products with acai berry blend juices as its main flagship product, in an MLM set up. The company started operations in 2005, and now operates in more than 15 countries, with an estimated annual sales of nearly $1 billion. Is it worth associating with MonaVie? Let’s find out.

MonaVie: How It’s Structured

With MonaVie, you are part of an MLM model, and your income depends on your enrolling other distributors. The products, which comprise juices made from a blend of berries in three versions, and their corresponding gel versions. Each bottle of 25 oz. costs around $45 retail.

You can also enrol in an Autoship program, which means that a set number of bottles will be delivered to your door every month, and for each of your downlines who enrol in the Autoship program, you get a percentage knocked off your Autoship price.

As with any MLM program, there are several levels of commission, proportional to the number of people you have under you as distributors.

MonaVie: The True MLM Picture

MonaVie has its main products and strategy mostly all set. It is still eyeing growth, and is expanding to other countries. It has nearly a 100,000 distributors in the U.S. alone, which I found quite surprising because it is indeed a challenge for MLM companies to make a big push for continued growth after an initial spurt, when sales plateau.

Joining an MLM venture such as MonaVie is a decision you should make carefully based on your immediate market for selling the products.

Also, MonaVie’s price points are a bit high, and in this economy, it will take a lot to convince one to buy a $45 juice bottle, however beautifully it is packed (and it is). The health benefits of MonaVie are subject to your own experience, although some people have claimed great results while others were not affected.

MonaVie: The Verdict

MonaVie has been around for a while, and has managed to gain attention for its nutritional acai-based juices. Many have reported using MonaVie as part of their MLM “product portfolio” which essentially means that they offer several products, including MonaVie.

What do you think of the MonaVie opportunity? Have you drank the juice?
